More than 4,000 people from 40 countries will compete across 9 surf lifesaving disciplines - swimming, simulated emergency rescue competition, Ironman/Ironwoman, surf-ski, board, beach sprints, beach flags, surf boats and inflatable rescue boats. Events will be held at Glenelg, Christies Beach and the State Aquatic Centre at Marion.

Hundreds of amateur cricketers will converge on South Australia for a week that includes three playing days, an opening ceremony on the banks of the River Torrens, welcome party at the Adelaide Oval, picnic day in the Barossa and the Grande Finale Dinner and Air New Zealand Awards function at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
